    I restored it with a lot of effort and love but it was very difficultous to me.


    [size=medium][size=small]I' kept original shapes, respecting pre cross flow engine 1700cm3 but with a lot of tricks for a lot of power.[/size][/size]


    [size=medium][size=small]Connecting rods, cranckshaft, pistons, flywheel all made of forjed steel, race camshaft, bigger valves, new exhaust and inlet for 40/40 carburator, electronic ignition, sporty oil pump, electric fuel pump, 5 speeds, 4 vented discs, Panhard bar, etc etc.[/size][/size]


    [size=medium][size=small]Lowered suspension and bigger wheels will let me drive comfortably and sure in high speeds.[/size][/size]


    [size=medium][size=small]With its low profile (CX:0.38) and weight around 950 kg and maybe 150/160 hp, I believe this oldie would be able of runs at 200km/h plus.[/size][/size]

    Bonnie, la otra opcion era importarme unas Minilite en 15", pero primero que no las podia pagar por el costo, y segundo es que son muy inglesas en un auto muy aleman!

    Ich versteh kein Wort. Schigge Farbe! Ansonsten find ich die Karre nicht hübsch, vorallem die Mooncaps gehen garnicht, mal nicht auf der Karre, oder eigentlich überhaupt nich!

    Ist hier so üblich, um die Bezüge vor Schweiss zu schützen....ist zwar Scheisse weil man dadurch nur noch mehr schwitzt, aber die Sitze bleiben eben sauber...


    @ Ale06 - I like the excellent work you did restoring the car, I'm sure it was a shitload of work that went into it, btw I like the paintjob - the colour is being called panty blue in this forum...

    Ist aber besser so - hast Du ne Ahnung wie ne Karre ohne aircon hier nur vom Schweiss das stinken anfängt ? Das willste gar nicht wissen...

    Bin in Namibia aufgewachsen, hatte nen 128er Fiat, der hatte auch kein Aircon, richtige Männer stinken halt...

    Mein erster war ein 128er Sport / Rost Coupe....


    Namibia - hört sich interessant an, die Ecke kenn ich leider noch nicht, steht aber auf der to do Liste, neben Neuseeland und Australien...

    Kombi, sonst geht eh garnichts...
    Nam ist super, sagst bescheid wenn du soweit bist und irgendwas brauchst, kann da einiges organisieren, bzw hab ne große Familie die viel organisieren kann...

    I had put the clear vinyl plastic over the seats due I want to preserve them.
    Of course it isn´t the best option, but Im sure I will have the trim for decades in the same conditions! hehehe.
    About wheels, is... You love them or you hate them. But I'm sure they have the same prototype style than Badewanne. Very late 50s early 60s style.

    This car was a piece of crap, but to find a Taunus M here is almost impossible.
    I acepted the challenge because I´m a true lover of all Taunus models!!
    At last after 11 long years, Widukindo is finished.

    Thanks... Your opinions is very important to me.
    Of course if car had been in original and good conditions, I will keep them, but as you see it was a crap example. Only with love and effort I did something like this.

    I would not give a fuck about my opinion if I was you, you did what you thought was right and I respect that. What else have you got? Send some pics of the cars in the background...

    I meant the avatarpics, or any other cars you have in store, just post any pics of old cars, or tits, anything nice from Buenos Aires...
