    yes, I know too,
    but this is 32F body with NY Motor... and that strange type plate...

    not all p7 were build in cologne.
    maybe this is an export version. or the car had an accident and the front end had to be repaird...normally the typing on the type plate is from the back,isnt it? you can get new type plates by ford...
    is the engine original?

    of course. I mean- strange RS complektation.
    all numbers are original, all plates are right.
    Alternative idea (basic color is green):

    what's the problem? the RS was also available as 4-door sedan, the car was build in plant antwerpen in belgium

    got a vinyl-top, so no police car.from wich state is it, finland?


    not ervery RS got RS-stripes on the side.


    other idea: engine has been replaced...


    and, ford made a lot of specials, to attract his cars for the sellers...

    i remember in 1987 my dad had a 20m RS 2600 4-door in white, interior black. no vinyl roof, no RS-stripes,no RS-wheels, all original, first owner.

    this car have 3 type plate: two normal and one absend in manual :)
    & have no docs, but, now, we thinking about take or not to take this :)
    if this car are frankenstain, thinking to use it for spares, if original - possibly try to find new owner :)

    RS - 1800 V6 never official in Germany the smallest was a 2000 in Germany!


    I got all the Factorypapers of the hole P7 RS series here for over over twenty years and there´s no 1800 v6 engine known.

    and allready an RS Type has to be black inside and this Headliner is white, all of the RS Fakes own this Detail !

    you maybe can look at the part no. of the steering gear assy.


    The "standard" models had a 19,9 : 1 Ratio, part no. 0439938
    The "RS" models had a 16,0 : 1 Ratio, part no. 0439841


    Changing the gear assey is not only a one hour job, so i think most of the fakers don't change this gear assey, maybe also they don't know that this is different.


    Also can look at the Bracket for the long range lamps.
    Some Brackets was connected to the body by screws, but most spot-welded.
    If they are spot-welded, i think 99% its original


    If its a fake anyway, than a real real well implemented

    17 m 1800 s ist aber kein RS - sondern eine billiger 17m aber eben schon mit dem kleinsten v6 der Welt


    und dieser " RS " ist ein Fake, oder sollte sich einer die Mühe gemacht haben extra nen weißen Himmel einzubauen - wohl kaum
    ein RS ist schwarz von innen und den Himmel vergessen die Pfuscher immer.

    all other body colours came with a white headliner.

    and: it was possible to get special orders. i got pictures of a 17m turnier-with RS-grill and sidetrim.
    picture was made while delivering the car to the customer in may 1970 @ ford autohaus ferdinand lützler in giessen.
    got it from the archive of this dealer when his shop gets closed in 2001.

    ich hab auch keinerlei Infos das es den RS jemals nur als 1800 gab. Standartmäßig war ja der 2000 Verbaut.
    Aber wer weis was im Ausland oder auf wunsch gebaut wurde

    ein RS Prospekt, kannste das scannen? Das kenn ich nicht ?!?

    laut meinen prospekten ist der RS standartmäßig mit 2l V6, und gegen minderpreis mit 1,7l V4 ausgestattet. 1,8l V6 wird nicht erwähnt.

    uuuh, kommando zurück, prospekt und preisliste passen nicht zusammen! inliegende preisliste ist von 1968!

    Hab ich nicht, hab nur das "Die Formel RS von Ford", ist doch auch scheiß egal, gabs bestimmt auf wunsch. Warum sollte es den nicht gegeben haben...


    März 1971 ist auch einer der letzten, da ham die alles reingehauen was noch in den Lagern lag...
